The Enriched Birth® Sponsorship Program

Childbirth education should not be a luxury reserved for those who can afford it. Enriched Birth®’s founding mission is to make childbirth education and access to prenatal and postpartum services accessible to everyone. To further that mission, we offer our group classes free of charge to those who are unemployed, receiving Medicaid or WIC benefits, or who reside in a shelter or in subsidized housing. Teenage parents-to-be (under 18 years old) also receive complimentary access to our classes and community. Those under 18 should reach out to us with permission and assistance from a parent or guardian.

They are both so deeply knowledgeable and super committed to this work; I remember Linsay following up on unanswered questions I’d had from the previous week or being sent additional material in between classes. As a Black woman, I appreciated Angel and Linsay’s commitment to leaning in during and honest and open conversations around my fear of dying while giving birth, not being listened to and believed by medical professionals. They armed me with tools to exercise autonomy over my body and convey a sense of self worth and empowerment during my hospital birth and for that I am forever grateful. I will always recommend Enriched Birth to pregnant persons!
