Private Childbirth Preparation Course
Included in the course:
Live, dynamic instruction from two Lamaze-certified childbirth educators and mothers (Linsay and Angel!)
3 private sessions (two 2.5 hour virtual sessions and one 4 hour in-person or virtual workshop) focused on what is most important to you and customized around your questions, concerns, and your unique situation.
A packet of materials including the comprehensive course guide, planning prompts, supplies for our class games and activities, as well as handouts with valuable information and resources to take with you to your birthing location.
The Enriched Birth guide for setting birth intentions (or - making a birth plan), which lays out suggestions for helping you expand and support your unique experience rather than constrict it to a set of strict expectations. This also includes 80+ birth plan icons and a customizable birth plan template. Linsay and Angel will happily review your birth plan and provide a follow up call to discuss and provide feedback on your birth plan once drafted.
Emails with videos, articles, and resources related to the course topic along with additional prompts for reflection and planning.
Our class is highly interactive and fun and we encourage participation and questions both during the class and via email.
For our 4-hour in-person workshop we will meet in the cozy living room space at the Nurture Nook (8320 Professional Hill Dr., Fairfax, VA 22031) where we will gather in an intimate setting on comfortable seating and couches. Coffee, tea, water, and light snacks will be provided.
